Day 3

Today, the third day of my internship, I went to the office, which in the meantime is the shop of the firm. It's the place where all the paperwork is done and the place where clients can come to do orders or buy products that don't have to be made in a special size, like for example doors. I went to the office with the boss' wife, I already met her before because the owners of the firm are my parents' friends, it was really nice to see her again. In the office I helped to unpack a delivery of doors and after the doors were unpacked we set them up in a kind of small showroom. The showroom is really funny because you have many doors in a small room so they form some sort of cabinets completely out of doors. After unpacking and setting up the doors, together with Lidka ( the boss' wife), I was choosing some designs for new doors they will be making and we chose new colours of fabric to order so new rolling shutters can be made. It was nice to be in the office/shop and work together with Lidka, usually she is on her own so she enjoyed working with me too, but it was a really different atmosphere than in for example the stockroom because it was really calm and much more quiet, but I enjoyed working there just as much as in the other places :)
